Hired Wrist

Starting from scratch

If you have ever contemplated writing but didn't know where or how to begin, Starting From Scratch is for you. My hands-on course of personal, individualized instruction will patiently guide you through the entire writing process, step-by-step, from initial idea-concept stage all the way though a completed first draft.

Together, along this creative journey, we will explore and understand the most important elements of screen and novel writing such as:

Screenplay

What you get is ten weeks of step-by-step individualized instruction. You will receive format templates and samples to ensure your screenplay is properly and professionally formatted. You will also receive weekly emailed detailed analysis of your novel or screenplay as you progress through the development and writing process. At each step I personally help you over the hurdles and guide you—through specific example and suggestion—to bring out the very best of your talent. At the conclusion of your first draft, we schedule a ½ hour telephone conference to more personally discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your completed draft to enable you to continue on your own.

Why is the program ten weeks?

Because I realize (as do you) that since you are not a professional writer yet and you no doubt have a full time life. We both know you will have to make an effort to carve out time for yourself to write. It's difficult, I know. Very difficult. But I also know that you would not have read this far unless you were compelled by a strong need and desire to write. I can help you take that next giant step.

When you hire me, you get me. I dedicate myself wholeheartedly to each individual client. I share with you my thirty-plus years of proven success and insider's experience that very few others can match. The old adage is true: you get what you pay for. The best costs a little more.

Novel/Manuscript

The same intensive step-by-step personalized instruction as screenplay, but extended over a twenty week period. Trying to write a first-time novel from scratch in ten weeks is just plain nuts.
